The logo in the middle looks terrible. even without the iPhone text, it should be where it is and has been for years IMO.

Will serve as a good visual 'target' if the bi-directional wireless charging rumour is true. Plus, it was looking a bit crowded with that camera - bump? (I feel like camera 'truncated cuboid' is more appropriate, considering the size...) - up there. I don't mind the change.

Sounds like a skateboard, Xanax competitor, tampon, energy drink - anything but a smartphone

That is one ugly name

Well they can’t use Plus (obviously), Grand, Xtra, X, XXL, Mega etc. are too tacky. Max is the only one left (didn’t work out too well for Boeing).

What else can we call it? Glorious? Majestic? Palatial?

I'm actually a huge fan of Spigen as I only buy Spigen products and don't use any other brand. So I'll definitely be getting Spigen cases only for my next iphone and for the future as well. Sorry I'm a Spigen fan boy no matter what.
Their tempered glass screen protectors are fantastic.

I sure wish Spigen, for once, would get rid of that annoying Apple logo cutout.

For whatever reason, Spigen design took a dive after the iPhone 5.

It went from having only a couple models with the cutout to putting them throughout the line.

The clean, modern design themes, with customizable color accents on some models weren't just a rehash of what everyone else was doing.

Now, there's really nothing to distinguish their cases or brand from the pack.

How does this confirm anything? Third party case manufacturers read the same sources everyone here does, all they've confirmed is that they feel it's a low enough risk to start manufacturing...

Although if you notice, they've printed the names on a sticker, so that if they're wrong they can just put a correct sticker over this. As they look to have done with Chinese characters showing behind them at the moment.

Exactly. Let's not forget the teardrop design that some case makers were so sure were coming after the 4S that some even had molds made and ready to go, losing thousands of dollars in the process.

It happens every year. It doesn’t take much to make a mold and then produce a few cases that they can ‘showcase’ a picture off to the Internet showing that they have the “first” cases for the new iPhone. Just a few weeks ago, there was renders of iPhone cases showing an Apple Pencil attachment, which we all know, renders aren’t proof anything, it’s concept art.

Does the name really mean that much or is it the iPhone itself which is more important

Who cares what they call it just let it be a great iPhone

Youtuber everythingapplepro received those and is probably doing a video about them.
We can see the Apple logo is indeed in the middle now and the triple camera look, also confirming name scheme for this year.

What do you guys think? I actually like the idea of the middle placed Apple logo, and everything else looks just fine to me. I'm not upgrading this year but I'm definitely excited.

Yeah, no question Spigen just got black listed by Apple for this. Don’t expect anymore Spigen made iPhone cases next year OR Ever.
“Keep in mind these are made in China for $1.00 and resold on Amazon for $10” the Chinese owners will likely close up shop and Rename the company.

This is what we all expect from Apple to do, mate. No surprise.
Is anyone else missing the fact that there is back case Cut out ?

Just to show off the Apple Logo for no reason. ?

IMO the Apple logo is now functional and probably a fingerprint sensor.

Is o

Is one of these the XR or will there be 3 screen sizes on the iPhone 11 plus the XR?
Apple won't use R letter on his iPhones anymore, i think.

No. It is certain that Apple is not bringing back the Fingerprint this year.

Same here. I have had a Spigen Tough Armor on all my iPhones for years now. I love it. I travel so much. That kickstand is so useful on a plane or train or in the airport.

I am wondering how do you guys use your iPhones with a cover. Doesn't that make you feel like carrying a brick instead of an iPhone in your pocket

I have never used and will never intend to use a cover to protect my phone :)

Most cases these days offer a good amount of protection while keeping a relatively slim profile. I can be clumsy and I live a pretty active lifestyle: running, hiking, biking, so I need my phone to be protected at all times.

It's like sex. Sure it feels better without protection, but then you are ****ed that one time an accident happens.

I wish Apple had gone with the tear drop design over the camera bump. I was super excited for the teardrop design.

LOL :D

I will not intend to use any kind of cover on anything you imagine.

Nope doesn't feel like carrying a brick at all.

Very unlikely, as Spigen have done this in the past years and still sell their cases.

People are going to lose their s**t at Apple calling their phone Pro, but people will buy it for AU $2K plus in Australia anyway. How did we get to the point where the best model has more than doubled in price and people still buy it?

Where Apple used to stand for quality and value, now I think they’re just elitist.

Which makes the lower tier phone look like a better value even though it’s still absurdly expensive.

It'll be a fat no from me. I'll go with the Caudabe Sheath! Literally the BEST case I've ever owned. And I've owned lots of different cases throughout the years. The Sheath + Apple leather case and I'm good to go.
