Was just playing around with the Casetify app and here's what I came up with. It's an app that allows you to make custom watch bands from pics on your phone. What do ya think? Sorry OP, but I just threw up all over my Apple Watch after checking those pics. Fortunately the watch is water-resistant.

Come on... What's wrong with the OP just sharing his finding? Not all of the bands are for everybody, that's why there are so many AW versions!

I think the overall idea is great, although I might try other pics!

Sorry about all the negative comments here OP, while the designs are not my cup of tea, the replies here seem a bit extreme.

Thanks. While I do agree I quite expected it. It is an Internet forum after all. Any chance to pick apart anything anyone says or does seems to be the norm. Not how I like to conduct myself but to each their own. I'm not gonna lose any sleep over it.

Wow! I was just messing around with the app. Somebody seems a bit elitist.

I don't think you know what the word "elitist" means. There are lots of things that one might wear as a kid that they "retired" as they matured. That's not elitist, it's natural.

Look, you asked for comments. I gave you my thoughts. You didn't like them. Fair enough. But it's the truth. No self-respecting adult would wear those designs. Only kids could get away with them. Sorry if that hurts.

By saying that only a kid would wear something like this you were implying that you were better than and I was less than for even considering it hence my elitist comment. And there is a difference between saying something is not for you and making someone feel less than. But like I said I quite expected it, it is the internet. No love lost brotha.

This brings up a good point though. Apple has marketed the watch as a luxury item. Does this mean that bands can't be fun and lighthearted? I know many adults that have interests that seem "childish"to others. Does this mean that my friend who has a copy of Amazing Fantasy #15 (first appearance of Spider-Man) and owns more Spider-Man memorabilia than I've ever seen can't/shouldn't rock a band with a Spider-Man logo? I have a friend that makes a living as a professional gamer. Should he not wear a band with his gamer tag on it? These watches are an expression of ourselves. Aren't they?

You put yourself out there asking for a critique so you got what you asked for.

That being said, do your thing. Doesn't matter what others think. If you want to rock a super hero band, go for it. If you wanna do Casetify, have at it. I intend to have a range of bands to suit my mood - from classy to silly. If others think it's <insert adjective here> that's their problem. :D

Self-respecting adults come in all variety of interests and personalities. One could even argue that to have self respect means also being secure enough in yourself to indulge in flights of fun and whimsy without fear of the opinions of others. Such a person may very well find one or more of these designs appealing.

In the end this is YOUR opinion of what YOU personally would or would not do. And your opinion of how others MIGHT feel. But in a (more or less) free society, no one person has the right to declare himself or herself the arbiter of what style or art another person may rightfully (and legally) embrace. You're trying to speak for more people and represent more opinions than any one person can rightfully claim to.

To answer the original question, I think the band designs would look nice with a Sport model. I specify the Sport model because I've tried it on and it is nice and light and would work well with the kind of plastic the Casetify bands appear to be made of. The bands appear to give more of a Swatch look to the Apple Watch. Your designs in particular look fine except for one where there appears to be a seam where the image repeats (the green band)

No. By saying only kids would wear those designs t I was saying that only a kid would be interested in them, and if that is your market it's on target, but I suspect not too many kids have AWs. A mature adult, even a fun-loving one, would not wear those designs. That's not being elitist, it's giving an honest opinion. Just because you didn't like it doesn't make it snobbish. Elitist is on the lines of "well, I personally enjoy custom Armani suits, but I hear Joseph A. Banks wear well."

Maybe but can't recall the last time I saw any adult wearing even colorful Swatch with better design than what OP showed off. Look around and see what adults wear, except maybe those a "free spirit" might don -- but that's another segment.

Mine is actually designed with a photo of me and Lady Gaga. Judge away! Ha!

I'm planning to buy another, with a more less photographic design but I havent figured what yet.

Are there a lot of 7th graders with $350+ AW? Just curious because that's the demographic for those bands.

Adult women might wear them. I found out about Casetify from other women on this board.

I am not comfortable wearing plastic watch bands (sweaty, sticky feeling) so I don't plan on getting one. But I do think they are interesting looking. However I think they're overpriced for what they are.

$60 retail is overpriced, but at the $50 preorder price, I was able to find a referral credit and a coupon code, bringing it down to $30. For that price, it's worth the experiment.

Here's another coupon code: ZFYU6U will drop the price by $10.
