Hmm, Music seems to be working sporadically, every now and again I get exactly what I need, I can browse, search and listen to artists/albums and then all of a sudden I start getting errors again, so I think these issues may be server side.

Does Google Drive File Stream work with Catalina?
(Version: 32.0.8.0)

Also the Trello Mac app?

Would appreciate feedback from those who use G Suite

Gemini doesn't work either, just crashes when attempting to scan any folder

I got anaconda3 to work:

1. Delete old anaconda3 folder. The beta installer had moved it to /Users/Shared/Relocated Items
2. Reinstall anaconda3 (I re-installed via Homebrew)
3. edit your ~/.zshrc file to add the following to the top (create the file if necessary)
PATH="/usr/local/anaconda3/bin:$PATH"
4. run
source ~/.zshrc
5. run
conda init zsh
6. run
source ~/.zshrc

Should work now. Alternately, you may be able to just copy paste the relocated anaconda folder to /usr/local and edit your ~/.zshrc file that way. I went for clean install to make sure it was correct.

thanks for the reply I was able to do it earlier by copying source from bash to zsh instead of installation/deletion ..

Microsoft update not working is annoying :(

it's working with more pop ups for update than usual.

Chatty does not launch. I also cant compile code with the esp-idf because gatekeeper is paranoid about lib_plugin.0.so". It cant be made an exception.

Does someone use Citrix Workspace? Does it work for you? When I want to login, there is this error message about "DigiCert Global Root CA". This happens after installing macOS 10.15[/QUOTE

It does the same thing on my iMac, the security certificate needs to be updated for it to work. If you use Google Chrome you can use the Citrix Workspace extension. It’s slow and doesn’t work great on the iMac because the resolution is too high, but it’s a as a workaround.

Here is the link: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/citrix-workspace/haiffjcadagjlijoggckpgfnoeiflnem

I've updated the list as I have taken the plunge and installed the Public Beta. Very surprised that all the apps I use work, including Google ones!

This is the first year that everything is working, over previous years I've jumped on the later Public Betas and there is usually one or two that won't open. Well done Apple.

Photos doesn't seem to want to import anything from my iPhone XR (running iOS 13). It lets you go through the motions of selecting the photos to import but when you choose the Import Selected button no new photos appear in the Library and no new folder is created under Imports.

Seems to be a Catalina issue rather than an iOS13 issue as I can still import without issues from the same phone into Photos my old Mac Mini running High Sierra.

Yep, same here. I had so many crashes on the Mojave beta, Catalina has been flawless in comparison.

Audacity 2.3.2 not working properly.
Issue with audio recording - no sound through line in or microphone. Audio editing, import and export etc all fine.

I had that. Using the chrome extension didn’t work either. Using my Mojave volume for Citrix until Citrix updates for Catalina.

Hi!

Could someone verify that AppDelete (I have version 4.3.3 of the app) is not working properly on public beta one?

It's not working on my machine, but I don't know if I'm an isolate case.

EDIT: After some trial and error, the app seems to not be able to get the files of the app selected (choose by drag and drop or by clicking the checkbox from the list of apps )... If someone could confirm... ;)

Was also wondering, (maybe somebody already asked...) is there an app that could replace real player? I already have quicktime and vlc, but some feature specific to real player made me download it a while ago... (probably for some ****** website using real player technology/ plugins...) Any ideas?

One thing I get from this thread (and similar ones each year) is how many different apps people use for their daily productivity or pleasure. And they (used to) say that Macintosh systems never had apps available for anything.

Well, after getting seriously *bad words* with Music missing features and then it just not launching at all despite many, many attempts doing everything I could think of, I got angry, made a backup of the music folder, deleted the original and restarted my Mac......

........ World of difference, it's back to normal, working just as well as it did in beta 1. Go figure.
