I'm still on 10.14 Mojave as I still have one 32-bit app holding me back from upgrading. The 64-bit version is very problematic and with hardly any support (EyeTV 4). I may give up on it.
This seems like a good place to ask; is it better to upgrade to Catalina or Big Sur?
I now wait at least a year before upgrading the OS. Mojave support will end eventually so I'm thinking I may just skip Catalina entirely. Big Sur 11.3, when it is released, may be a good time to switch.

I am asking here as this group is familiar with both.

Thanks for any advice.
