Not sure where I was being OCD about this? I just said I noticed the MagSafe ring. I'm not even bothered by it, I still love the case.
Sorry, that came out wrong. It was more just a commentary on how people on macrumors like to nitpick things that don’t matter to most others. Didn’t mean to imply that you were OCD!

Interesting. I requested a replacement gray Sheath this past Thursday night and got a shipment notification the next day. Should be here Monday. Seems like no rhyme or reason the way they are answering emails and processing orders for this launch.
 
The order that I received a confirmation for that was delivered today, showed the Lucid Clear Celestial Blue and I had this delivered instead today. You can imagine the anger on my face when I opened the package. Caudabe has never sent me the wrong items before.
I could imagine how furious you were as I would feel. Hopefully, by now, all inconveniences have been resolved. Wish the best 😊
 
Anyone here have a caliper and can measure the sheath borders and total width?

I’m trying to get an idea of how much thickness it adds.

Pro or Pro Max?

Grey and Amethyst were the most popular colours it seems. If it's for the Pro Max then it should have shipped by now, definitely send them a message on X/Twitter, they'll reply within 24 hours.

If it's for the Pro and you've missed the last batch then the next 'ship by' date for the Grey is 19th.
 
I caved and ordered the grey synthesis. Im hoping my action button is better. If not I will deal with it as it does not get used often. I enjoyed everything else about it.

Is the texture on the buttons the same on the Sheath and Synthesis? I know the Synthesis has the grip on bottom but wondering if the material is the same on sides of both cases otherwise.

Haha, I just did the same thing. Well for the blue and not the gray. A buddy of mine kept raving about his Synthesis. I tried it on, kept telling myself I don’t need it, and then bought it the next day. 😂

For whatever it’s worth, the action button was fine when I tried it. Felt similar to my Sheath which has worked well for me. I’m looking forward to using the extra side grips on the Synthesis.
 
Got button Acton case. The new action button on synthesis is way to easy to press.
 
So I requested a code to get the new version of the case like the day after the iphone 15 came out.
I got an email back from them asking me not to email again and they'll get to it and I'll lose my place in the queue yet I see people who asked after me got their code and the case lol.

Should I just email them again?

They're not a huge company and this time each year they are swamped due to the iPhone launch. Otherwise, in my experience their customer service is usually excellent.

Do not email them. As mentioned previously the more you email them your ticket gets pushed down the queue by the system.

Contact them via X and they will contact CS for you to reply to your query.

I did the same and they’ve been very helpful.

They're not a huge company and this time each year they are swamped due to the iPhone launch. Otherwise, in my experience their customer service is usually excellent.
Not to make excuses for Caudabe, but they are a very small company, we're talking probably less than 30 employees. Couple the fact that the new iPhone came out not too long ago, and the very high demand for their cases, and you get the result of what feels like bad customer service when in reality they're not one of these top case companies like otterbox or UAG that can employ more people.

They're not NOT answering emails. They're getting to them (in order of receipt) as quickly as their small team can afaik.

They are on all three social media platforms. Try one of them.
I did try Facebook, and didn’t get a reply. Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t think it’s my job to hunt them down for a reply. They have now missed 2 promised ship dates, and response to emails have been very slow. I’ll be cancelling my order and requesting a refund when I get home today.
