Based upon the reports, it has to be a cutout due to the nature of the button (swipe and force sensitive).

Would it not be sensitive enough that a case would still allow those movements to be detected? If it has to be a cutout then that's fine.
Looks like they're switching to metal buttons and removing the line accent. Either that or it's a new leather case offering.
Hopefully they keep their Sheath line. I really like this material and texture.

Hoping for a Sheath case, with metal buttons that are closed around. My 15 Pro took lots of dust between the volume buttons, due to the cutout. If they also close the bottom with no cut for the speaker and microphone, just like on the original Apple silicone, then we have a winner. Other than that, I loved my Caudabe. Nice to hold, and the MagSafe ring was never visible like it does on virtually every other cover I've tried.
Hoping they have the capacitive passthrough for the camera control that Apple's silicone case has!

Their post on social media shows an open cutout, not a Camera Control button cover.
Agreed! I hope they do too - but I doubt it. Think we have to wait a bit until the cover manufacturers figure out that the camera button needs to be covered. The most stylish cover is ruined by the cutout.

I like the new Sheath with metal buttons, would be nice if they could extend that to the 15 Pro/15 Pro Max line as well.
The new Paragon looks nice, especially the seaglass color. But it’s too long of a preorder wait so I’ll just go with another Sheath.
Yeah, not impressed here. I hoped that they were going to release more colors for the Sheath at least.
