Hahaha, i like how Kanye just rushed in on that kiss.

As Obama said, "What a jackass."

Somehow AT&T pulled a picture out of the *censored* air and sent it somewhere it should not have gone.
Jeez, don't ya just hate it when this happens? Something similar happened to me, 'cept in my case, ATT sent close ups of body parts to my mom.

It's not AT&T, I believe it is part of the little known "Anti-Cheating" features in the iPhone OS. You know, like how you can't delete individual numbers from your call log.

I'm not the moral police on here, so I'll leave all of the "You got what you deserved" posts for others... But I'm thinking it.

Another continent, less repercussions, same ghosts

Hi guys, I'm new to this forum, been with iPhone since October 2008, got no answer in other forums to this particular problem. I use 3G iPhone 8GB SF, jailbroken, OS 3.0.1.
The problem started since I upgraded to 3.0 and enabled MMS. I sent a couple MMS, then deleted them. Then I get an SMS from an unrelated contact. In a preview I see his text, but when I open his message I see the text and sometimes the picture from the previously deleted MMS to a different person. Then another SMS comes in - another deleted MMS picture pops up, and so on.
I checked with my carrier, thought it was their mix-up - they referred me to a good psychiatrist.
I WinSCP'd to /var/mobile/Library/SMS, found there 2 files sms.db and legacy-sms.db which I left intact, of course, and 2 folders: Parts and Drafts which contained some pictures of the MMS's which were supposed to be deleted!! I emptied these 2 folders, but the problem keeps coming.
My contacts notice nothing wrong, by the way, they get the correct pictures and texts, thanks God, the mix-up is only at my iPhone.
Any ideas? Anyone else's iPhone is creative?
Thanks

Today, My friend sent me a pic of a girl kissing me when my MMS was first working a few days ago. I deleted the picture and DID NOT save it. Last night I sent my girlfriend a random picture, but somehow, the picture I DELETED and DID NOT SAVE, got sent to her.

Somehow AT&T pulled a picture out of the *censored* air and sent it somewhere it should not have gone. FML

Fixed it for you :p

I'm almost positive the same thing would have and will happen after MMS is officially released on the 25th. Moral of the story, use caution when you send sensitive material over the air waves - you just don't know whose hands it will fall into.

This is why services like Files Over Miles exist I guess.

To my knowledge, nothing like this has happened in the iPhone's e-mail client before though, despite what some people may say :p

Oh I know that, it was my friend who sent it.

Fixed it for you :p

I put it on FML. It didnt go up.

And to all the people accusing me of "cheating," I was single at the time.

That'll be because only lies and complete BS that are so improbable it's unbelievable go on there, hence why I only looked it it once for about 10 seconds :D

As for the MMS, AT&T are clearly crap. While it's not unusual for messages to logged (texts are stored for 2 or 3 years by the networks), they obviously shouldn't be sending other images to the wrong people. You can't really complain though. When it's officially released and this still happens, then you can complain :p

Ahaha oh I know that. I am using it before its officially released so there are bugs obviously. It better not happen after the 25th though lol.

MMS.. Dallas Texas... 3GS

Updated 5.1 carrier file and then changed settings provided by help.benm.at.
Restarted the phone and worked like a charm!!! Have family messaging as well.

I think the OP is FOS. As if AT&T is randomly finding pics to resend to your girlfriend and why would they know who she even is? If you put it on FML it didn't go up because it sounds like BS.

It's still a good laugh. :)

Oh its true. We were waiting in line for a concert and I was sending her the setlist. I checked my phone and it showed me sending the setlist twice. I had to spend the next 5 hours with her. Luckily we fixed things through the night.

Im not a troll btw. This is completely serious. I also have pics and random texts coming from twitter and other friends.

Example: A friend sent me an MMS saying "i love this job" with a pic attached. Hours later, that same text came from twitter. (look how buggy my phone is here .
