As a consumer you have a choice- buy droid or anything that plays flash.
Apple's stance is that Flash is holding back the platform. If you want to continue to use floppies, parallel port, dos(qdos) in 2010, you chose a wrong platform.
I think the main reason flash is not supported is because of Airplay. Flash (video) is holding back creating airplay, facetime kind of standards. I will rather have Airplay than flash.
We have all gone thru this already as a mac user. There are so many sites still use WMA as a playback, i refuse to use those services. as a consumer, you have a choice now.
