I inherited this one and it never left the car; it was for emergencies only.

I can't find anywhere the make/model of the 1st phone I actually bought for myself, which is driving me friggin' crazy. It weighed next to nothing, was very skinny (in both width and depth-- it couldn't have been more than an inch and a half wide), let you change the LCD backlight color to one of 6 different ones, and had a ringtone composer built in. Candy bar style, & I was with AT&T (or Cingular) at the time (May 2002). I loved that phone, & if anybody has an educated guess as to what it was, I'd love to hear it. God, I'm a dork for caring that much. :)

The next ones were as follows:
v60t.jpg

ca. mid-2003. Motorola v60t.

v600.jpg
I loved how you could customize the sequence and color of lights that lit up around the Motorola logo for various callers. Got this one in early 2004. Motorola v600. Very cool phone.

v551.jpg

Got this one ca. July 2005. Still have it. Motorola v551.

razr-v3xx.jpg

April 2006. Still have it. RAZR v3xx.

blackberry-curve-8310.jpg

June-ish 2008. BB Curve 8310.

blackberry-bold.jpg

Nov. 2008. BB Bold 9000. I really dug this phone, but liked the 3GS more.

iphone-3gs.jpg

white iPhone 3GS. Launch Day 2009

iphone-4.jpg

black iPhone 4. Launch Day 2010.

white iPhone 4S - launch day 2011

silver iPhone 5 - launch day 2012

gold iPhone 5S - finally able to pick up in-store on 10/02/13

Evidently, I'm a bit of a phone whore.

The iPhone revolution. iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, Palm Pre, Palm Pre Plus, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, HTC One+, Galaxy S4, Nexus 4, iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, Nexus 5, OnePlus One. iPhone 6 is next.

lg-env-1.jpg

Then the iPhone 3G, 16GB

Then the iPhone 4, 32GB

Then the Galaxy Note 2.

Just pre ordered the Frost White Note 4 tonight!

Nice! We both had the SCH a670 and enV. This thread is bringing back a lot of cell phone nostalgia!

<Verizon>

My first one: LG VS3100
30468895-2-440-front-2.gif

I still have it, with all original papers, in pristine condition. It sends texts and places calls. That's it. It was an utter simpleton but it was my first cellphone.

My second one: LG VX6100
LG-VX6100.gif

It did all the above things, and also took really horrid pictures.

My third one: Moto Razr (first-gen)
motorola-silver-razr-v3m-verizon-factory-refurbished-.jpg

I was stylin' and profilin' with this sweet baby. It did all the above things, took really horrid pictures, and looked really super thin for a flip phone. In some ways I still miss it.

My Fourth phone: 8GB iphone 3G
3giphone-080609-1.png

I really miss the comfortable way this felt in my hand, but I love the clean, more industrial-style of the post-3G iPhones.

</Verizon>

...sad story: Verizon shafted me on my prepay plan without notice, gave my number to someone else (instantly negating over$350 in business stationary :mad:...) and the only thing customer service would do is give me a snide sales pitch trying to get me to upgrade to a $70 a month contract for two years, plus money for the phone. Yeah, right. Plus, I had a salesman begin swearing at me when I went in to a Verizon store and complained about sales texts. I switched to...

<AT&T>
...and have not had one iota of trouble. Fantastic in-store and on-phone help.

My fifth cellphone and second iPhone: 16GB iPhone 4
IPhone_4_Black.jpg

Heavy, but ran smoother, faster, and longer with iOS7. I don't miss the heaviness in my pocket from this one but at least it felt really sturdy. I never had it in a case and never got a ding anywhere on it. :)

My seventh one and third iPhone: Silver iPhone 5s, 32GB
iPhone%205S%20Silver_enl.jpg

I hope Apple makes the iPhone 7 available with with a 4" screen. It's hard to believe it has the same innards as an iPad Air except it powers a smaller screen (=yay for performance!).
