Since the latest beta,

My 5G Cellular has been completely cutting off to nothing / no service around 5-6 times a day.

iPhone / Cellular never did this prior to updating to the latest Beta.

Anyone else have this?

Out of curiosity, how often is it occurring?
I’ve only noticed it twice: after taking my phone out of my pocket while cycling; while walking around Parliament. Wonder if it’s a handover issue…
No issues on the tube though

I’m in an area w really strong T-Mobile signal, wonder if it’s when it’s switching between n41 and n25.

I did notice yesterday that my “5G” went to “SOS” yesterday. Wasn’t sure if that was because I’m using the iOS 18 beta or if T-Mobile messed something up. It went back to normal after a restart.

Any VPNs? I tried turning on a wireguard VPN I had configured, and it just dropped the cellular (trying to figure out what is triggering it).
I do have an on-Demand VPN, but the cellular cut out in occasions where it would not have been activated.

Same issues here.

I did downgrade to Beta 3.5 but my modem did not properly downgrade so the issues followed me there.

I bit the bullet and did a clean install of B4, which brought no real improvements. I‘ll sit this one out till B5 since the cellular panics are pretty short here and I‘m on wifi most of the time.

I hope it’s fixed in Beta 5 !
