iPad Pro Charger for 2021 M1 iPad Pro?

Noticing regular chargers/wall-warts don’t provide enough charge. The charge symbol shows up, but the iPad (12.9 miniLED in my case) either charges slowly (if not being used and off) or gradually loses charge if it’s in use despite being plugged in.

Does anyone know what’s best for being capable of charging while using?

It only came with a cable that I saw. You still need a USB A port or a wall wart to plug it into, and that’s where the limitation lies.

From your signatures it seems like you guys are discussing 2020 iPads, not the M1 iPad Pro.

A 20W USB-C charger and USB-C cable is included with the iPad Pro and iPad Air. Did you look under the packet with the documentation in it?

I use the 29w Apple charger with my 2020 iPad Pro since l already had it. It works well. I put the 20w aside incase I need it for emergency use.

Personally don’t use any of the wall chargers Apple provides, and keep the cable and charger in the box.

Accumulated Anker and Ravpower wall chargers over the years - cost less and provide more W.

Tested and using both RAVPower 90W (on sale for $44.99) and 65W 2-Port Type-C (on sale for $29.99 - $20 off plus additional $10 off) Wall Charger PD 3.0 to power my M1 MBP and M1 12.9 IPP as a less expensive alternative to Apple wall chargers.

This is really strange, where are you from? In US and Europe it should have come with a charger.

I got the new 12.9 pro. It came with a usb-c cord and power brick.

It only came with a cable that I saw. You still need a USB A port or a wall wart to plug it into, and that’s where the limitation lies.

Why USB-A? That’s definitely too slow. I think USB-C iPads don’t even pull 12W from USB-A, just 7W.

My M1 Pro came with USB-C to USB-C cable and 20W adapter.

Granted, I’m just using the same RAVPower 65-W 4-port charger + Uni 10 ft braided USB-C to USB-C cable that I use to charge my ThinkPad.

Yes. I believe the latest iPad Pros can go up to somewhere around 30W. If you throw more at it, it will only charge at its limit, so it's fine.

The 20 watt charger is quite slow, the 29 watt USB c charger I bought years ago for faster charging is much faster.. So I gave the 20 watt one to my son for the old iPad that he inherited from me. Good thing I was comparing today.
