Has anyone tried this combo on a 3,1 running Monterey? I’ve recently done this OS update and lost the BT functionality (as the original BT card is not supported). Hoping this solution would allow me to get WIFI and BT back.
Aware it needs an external USB slot to run the BT but that’s fine. Just want to make sure the combo will give me a reliable BT connection for my apple keyboard and mouse.
Edit: bought a TP Link UB400, connected it via a cheap ancient USB hub and it worked straight away. Having a few issues with random drop outs but I’ll try and move the BT device a little closer to the mouse.
