I'm astounded that nobody here even questioned why you would need to do a carry-on with your MacPro.

Whole bunch of reasons I suppose - may have a project that he/she needs to take the Mac Pro in for or potentially may want to save money by purchasing it in the US and exporting the machine themselves to their home country, etc.

I guess the why doesn’t really matter and we are just trying to provide the OP with solutions to his/her dilemma.
