Cinema Displays - now or wait

If the Mac Pro has a new design, the MacBook Pro will also get a new design, which means the Cinema Displays will be redesigned.

The Mac Pro doesn't have a new design.

You guys are way too optimistic. When Apple changes the CASE for the desktops, then the MATCHING displays will change too. Just sayin...

How about this twist on the equation.

I have a 23" ACD, and a 24" Dell 2405

Up until now they have been in two seperate locations, but now with my new job, the dell is coming home soon.

Should i sell the dell and get a second 23" ACD? ( a friend is offering me a heck of a deal ) so i can have that nice uniform look to my workstation? hehe.


what do you guys think?

think its worth it then? instead of having the DELL ( boo hiss hiss! ) next to my beautiful ACD.



all prejudice aside. the dell is a stellar performer, once i calibrated it with my monaco optix xr. i was wowed by the results.

I am sort of in your boat. The price drop on the 20" ACD is tempting, but I have a good feeling that a glossy, iSight included Cinema Display is around the corner.

they arn't glossy! I'd definately wait.

I am in the same boat - I 'want' to buy one but not if they're going to release something better 5 minutes after. This is why I dislike this hush hush attitude they have, sure it has its advantages but it doesn't half make buying difficult

I think the Dell are still better but I expert Apple to bring out new ACDs OR a new iSight.
