I found 2 tweaks that get rid of the slider and black bars including the lines.

"No Lock Bars" and "Invisible Slider" Slide to unlock and the camera gesture still work, you just don't see them. I love it.

Thanks. The weather is Forecast.

My only 2 things I still want to do are to get rid of the gray bar behind the music controls on the lock screen, and with forecast the song title just doesn't show on the lock screen.

Edit: I just went to figure out where to go for support, and noticed it said settings are under weather widget in notifications. There is actually an option to turn song name off or on there. Mine was obviously off. So that one is fixed!

Must be an interaction with whatever has your notifications showing up like that. Mine has not done that.

Just wanted to chime in. There is a NobelisHD thread in this forum and there seems to be an issue with how apple redid the camera with the iPhone5 which is slight different. You can rename the camera image in the theme so that it is used instead of the default but there are other things wrong with it. I can't get the springboard 2 custom text to line up with it, the camera icon is out of position and I can't find the file that sets the position of the lock screen features to edit it...

I don't think it is. I was trying a couple of the tweaks to remove the slider and one or two that actually removed it resulted in the notifications and widgets area overlapping like this whenever I removed the slider background. Wasn't able to figure out a way to get it working.

Slider Remover in Cydia worked the best but caused this same issue (and left the line others have complained about).

The other solution isn't bad but I would prefer to remove the slider altogether. I have a seperate action through activator to unlock the phone and want the regular slide to unlock turned off.

No Lock Bars

Glad I could help. I had it installed and they posted an update last night that got rid of the lines as well.

on a whim i went into winterboard and rearranged my settings.. i originally had Invisible Slider above of No lock bars... I switched them so that No lock bars is above Invisible Slider and viola!

Thanks for that, installed Invisible slider and it does the job, not too worried about the lines at the moment. Occasionally shows the slide to unlock tho especially when I have a Bitesms alert. Hope for something that actually removes the slider rather than hiding it but as I said this work for now.

Interesting. I don't use BiteSMS. Just Intelliscreen X for replying to texts from the lock screen. I haven't seen the sliders except when my phone spazzed out and rebooted in safe mode.

so is the consensus that in order to do this you have to have winterboard installed?

seems like all of the suggestions require it.

i don't want to use winterboard but would like to get rid of the gradients :/

it looks to be the stock weather widget from notification center(with a clock added). Lockinfo can put it and the clock on the lock screen and i believe intelliscreen X can as well.

yes it does look like that, but i am not sure he used LI or IX.

those lock screens without the standard clock have issues right now.


for starters the notifications don't work, and the LS media player doesn't work also.
