C'mon Apple! Where are the 12.9 Black Bezel iPads?

Here we are a month later and there are still no 12.9 Space Grey models anywhere to be found. Ridiculous!

Apple has been in business a long time. How could they screw up the production schedule like this?

Yes, I'm venting. But venting is necessary after having placed an order over a month ago and am still waiting with no end in sight.

I'd guess 2 as well. I'm wondering if it is a demand issue or a component supply issue. The guy at the Apple store near me said they were not receiving many at all. That's a bit different than underestimating how many they'd sell. For anyone wanting to buy one it doesn't really matter the reason - they just have to be patient.

I'm thinking it's more of a low stock issue just based on the fact B&H has been out of almost every 12.9" for a couple of weeks now, but the 64GB Wi-Fi+Cellular has been available the entire time in all three colors. I guess you could argue no one wants that specific model, but I doubt that is the case.

Go figure! My iPad Pro from MacMall is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. Had I waited until today and ordered from Apple, I would have spent an additional $57 (tax) but got a $150 towards some Beats. Argggh! Well, I guess it doesn't matter too much. I already have a set of Powerbeats 2 and Bose QC35 headphones which sound great. At least this way, I'll have a 12.9 iPad Pro 512 GB Space Gray Wifi in my hands less than 24 hours from now...

Is there a restock fee? If you have the funds available and there's restock fee you can just order from Apple and once you get the apple one return the MacMall one. That way you have an iPad the entire time.

And this is why I decided to get a Wifi+Cell 12.9 Gold 64GB first, even though I prefer a Space Grey 256GB Wifi. Will get the actual one (with that free Beats headphones!) that I want when it comes via the 14 day exchange period

Nice time to try out the white bezels and cellular capabilities too
