AMAZING!

How can I get this running on my cMP?

I have all the hardware.

I need a guide on how to install Windows so I can boot into it just like you've done and get my UAD kit out of the loft :)

Any help/guides/advice would be golden!

Cheers

For anyone daring enough to try:

Install card:
https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GC-TITAN-RIDGE-rev-10#kf

Boot to Windows, install supplied app/driver (if not already installed). Reboot to MacOS (warm, not hard shutoff). In the app, you can allow the TB device to connect (one time).

MacOS Mojave+ then should work with thunderbolt.

My point, there's really not much to it. In theory, any device should work as long as it can work with MacOS. I've had no issues with my OWC Thunderbay 4 and LG Ultrafine 5k with cMP. As we may see here, audio interfaces will work too.
Is there a tutorial on the best way to install Windows for one to boot into it and then soft boot into MacOs?

Hey Underground Cub

First time poster here, forgive me if this is amateurish; I have a Mac Pro 2012 with Bootcamp Windows 10 installed, the Titan Ridge USB C PCIe card installed with drivers.

I did alot of research and as far as I know, I should be good to go. But I'm still not getting a response from my Apollo Twin MK2 in either windows or mac.

Here's my setup:

2012 Mac Pro 5.1
6 Core 2.66gHz
32 gb RAM
Radeon HD 5870 GPU
Running Mac OSX High Sierra

Titan Ridge PCIe USBC in Slot 2
Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 Certified Apple adapter.

I've seen people with similar or identical setup/circumstances run their thunderbolt 2 devices without a problem with the handshake boot from windows to mac. But I can't seem to get it working one bit.

It happened ONCE where I booted into Windows and checked the "Thunderbolt Control Center" from the Gigabytes driver and it recognized the Apollo, saw exactly what the device was, etc. But It still didn't sync with the UAD software. Since then it hasent really worked at all.

Is there a step by step process that YOU followed to get your rig going with your logic and mac etc?

Thanks!
