Wow, I expected it to be much worse, b/c sometimes it inexplicable starts draining battery even when it's been plugged in and then starts to charge up again. In the past six months I've been more conscientious about unplugging the charger a few times a months and letting it drain out to keep everything optimal. I use it as my primary computer at home so it's mostly plugged in. Thanks for the info about this app, I've always been curious!!

When I first got this machine it said the battery capacity was about 6850 mAh.

I fully discharge and recharge (recalibrate) my battery about once a week. I usually run the computer on battery power and use it while connected to AC power about 20% of the time. Other than that this machine is a road warrior and I hope the battery life holds up. With that said has anyone had their built in battery (non user replaceable) replaced yet? and if so did you do it yourself or did you take it back to an Apple Store?

I pretty much go through 1 full cycle a day. System Profiler says the battery health/condition is "Normal" for whatever that means. I can definitely tell the computer does not stay on battery for as long as it did before. I think I will take advantage of my Apple Care over the next 10 months if things dramatically go downhill.

I think I have one of the highest cycles in such short time... man, I do use my battery a lot. Furthermore, it's nice to see how many Rev A owners are around...

Does the increase in mAh represent better battery life on the Rev C vs A&B? I see they have better capacity than the first models; and I do not recall this being a selling point of the Rev C.

I am lucky to get 3 hours on my Rev B; that really is my biggest complaint of the system.

Rev C have a 40wHr battery vs the 37wHr in the A and B. It's not a huge improvement but it really depends on how you use the system. My current MacBook Pro's 60% health battery still gets me 1.5 hours at max settings.

Mine fluctuates, and the battery icon says, "Service battery" every other time. It lasts about 1.5 hours in one sitting with mild usage. I am a heavy battery user though, at about 4 near-full charge cycles per weekday, and a couple per weekend.
