I prefer consoles for gaming because

1. Less hackers (ppl do cheat on consoles but its more rare than pc)
2. Controller (I like being able to sit on the couch and play cod on my plasma I also like the rumble with the controller)
3. Dont have to worry about performance (XBox/PS3 will always be smooth and look good)
4. All my friends play it on console

They do its just the current hardware capabilities to render a complex game such as MW2 in true HD just isn't capable enough to do it smoothly or at a playable speed. Thats why they rely on upscaling to reach HD levels. there is a few games that is true HD but those are rather simple games when compared to the likes of MW2 or said game of the like.
I've played quite a few games in my day and i'd hardly consider MW2 complex by any means.

Hacking is pretty prevalent on consoles as well. I played numerous games of Call of Duty (and of Halo) there were rife with hackers. With a PC it's undeniably easier to handle hackers.

its sure a heck allot more complex then say the likes of trials HD (arcade games), perfict dark (remake of older games) or said indie game, or card game or puzzle game which are mainly native HD (mostly 720p that gets upscaled to 1080p few totles support 1080p native). when i say complex i am talking about textures used, the amount of polygons used, draw distances, effects used, and the amount of action that goes on.

and again i said games like MW2 (was only using MW2 as a example) and the like meaning not only MW2 but other games as well like final fantasy, racing or other kinds of games.

I play on console because mainly friends, its fixed hardware so everyone is seeing the same performance (you don't have to worry about crappy game play due to having a low end PC). the only thing that is different is internet speed and your location depending on if your playing on a official dedicated server or P2P.

Its also undeniably easier to hack on a PC then it is on a console (i am not saying its not happening on a console because i have had it happen to me ). all it takes is to download a few files and boom. that is not so with a console. i have had it happen way more on PC then on console

I'm 90% sure Force Unleashed 2 has a smaller budget than MW2 yet it is graphically years ahead of the COD franchise. Granted, everything else about the game sucks, but FU2 is beautiful.
I'm not comparing it to stuff like downloadable games, i'm comparing MW2 to other full disc-only games, and MW2 isnt complex at all. Castlevania renders at full 720p and has 2 discs for the 360 because there are that many different resources.

Its really a shame when you compare it to an exclusive title like GT5P that renders at 1280x1080@60fps and moves a ton more polys and textures across the screen than MW2 ever could.
