thanks for the responses guys.. secondly, I just want to play MP, is the dvd needed? I can buy a guy's cdkey to play online and just want to install the game.

It runs really smooth on my Quad-Core Mac Pro with 5GB of RAM and nVidia 8800GT with 512MB of VRAM. I have all the settings cranked to the max though. Oh well. ;)

Can anyone post how CoD4 runs on the new MacBook 2.4 ghz with GeForce 9400M Graphics?

It runs well on my 2.0 MB via Bootcamp XP. You have to turn off some of the fancy stuff though, like specular lighting and it boosts frame rate up a lot. I played w/ SP and wanted it at least 30FPS and native resolution so I turned off a few things but could leave textures at high which was nice. One weird thing though in the PC version is you have to turn Dual video cards on to stop the game from stuttering, it's not bad framerate, but just weird stuttering. Found this solution by googling. I played a little online and framerates were jumpy, and I turned down most everything for MP b/c I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing a step. I haven't messed w/ it a lot though to optimize what I can turn on/off to have best balance of looks and gameplay.

I'm looking to obtain a Mac version now though to test it vs PC bootcamp.

I gotta ?
