Have now seen blue and natural in the real world. Unfortunately, both had just been locked into heavy-duty security cages which made proper evaluation difficult.

I can appreciate the blue is smart and, if I wanted a dark phone, might have been in with a chance.

The natural is OK. I do get the arguments re scratches but as I will continue using a case, no big deal.

But I am happy that I ordered white.

My hang-up with anything non-natural titanium frame is down the road, scratches and dings will be more prominent on the blue, black, etc as the raw titanium will show through those marks. The raw titanium frame should hide them better and can also be lightly buffed with a scotchbrite pad or something similar whereas that won't be possible with the colored variants.

In reality, all of them should hold up just fine in a case, but case-less might be a different story. I guess I care less about the color of the back of the phone and more what the frame looks like.
The natural titanium frame is not raw titanium, it also has a PVD coating meant to make the frame look like what we think titanium should look like.

So theoretically if that scratches there would be a different color underneath too. Less noticeable maybe.

I like to get a different color every year so that it "looks" like a new phone. Last year I had white and got blue this year. The blue is very, very dark .. it looks like charcoal gray to me. I am using a clear case and the dark color amplifies smudges. I still have the case on my 14 and looking closely I see smudges but they are not really visible on the white phone unless I look closely. I'll live with it this year but next year ... it'll be white!!

Well that's disappointing to hear. I usually use a bright case so that I can easily find my phone in a bag or dimly lit area. Still I think it will look better than the other colors which to me are same old same old but at least it's not the sh!tshow of the iP 15 color choices.

I'm just tired of the black, white, gold, silver and pastel colors Apple tends to roll out (with few exceptions). I feel like most people would like bolder, brighter colors. The iPad colors with yellow, etc. are great!

I talked with an Apple employee when I went to collect my phone. While we were waiting, I told him I was sure people wanted more colorful phones and that this year was very washed and kind of sad.
He told me that every year, best sellers are black and white iPhone.... except for 13 Pro in Sierra Blue. I was shocked and disappointed to be honest 🤣

But I really think this proves the point, if they had better colours they wouldn’t sell as many black and white ones!! Granted the Sierra Blue one was nice, always regretted I never had one.

Gotta say blue is surprisingly dark. Sticking with it though, still not enthusiastic about the natural color after seeing it in the store.

I returned the natural today. Just was not feeling it at all.

Currently using the blue titanium and will see how I feel after a couple days or so. The white one looked way better than the natural in person, so now I’m even considering that one 🤔

i think it is one of those you like it a lot or you don’t like it colors. My wife likes the color a lot and I do not at all once I saw it in person - too bland in my view. Any of the other three are better colors to me, but that’s just my opinion.

Nice to have options of colors, but the rumors of red for Pro that never materialized did pique my interest much more than the colors that we have to choose from which are rehashes of previous Pro colors.

After seeing more natural photos I’m glad I didn’t get it, it’s so boring to me.

I like the black more now that I have it in person. I wish I got blue, but I had the blue 12 and 13 Pro, so I am happy to mix it up. Black and blue are my two favorites from this cycle and I am happy with either one.

I have white and I'm happy with it. I've always liked white iphones (though if there had been a fun bright orange or a nice teal colour, I'd have gone for that). I do wish this one were a little more white - i.e., slightly warmer / less metallic? The 'white titanium' looks quite silvery/clinical, not helped by the blueish hue of my clear TPU case (ESR zero).

Everyone talking about the natural titanium shade seems very worried it might look warmish, but I prefer warmish myself. My starlight SE 3rd gen is nice. This year's pro colours are very sombre!

I hope to get a nicer case down the track. That will make the phone a bit cheerier.

I agree 100% that white is surprising nice in person - somehow it is much more interesting than natural

Could you explain why?
Not that person but I love how the darker colors help blend in the cameras on back (I always get the pro max version).

I used to get white way back, but now I get the colors. Dark green, blue, purple, and navy now. I like the only other version I would have considered is black but I still like color.

I don't really get the hype around natural titanium. I undestand it's "new" and a bit different from the usual lineup, but it's just a dirty grey. As someone who had an iPhone 5S, which was a similar warm grey color, I suspect after a year of using natural titanium people will get very bored with it.

Of course, then those people will be here next year telling us why they need an iPhone 16. 😂

I wanted a grey phone that is like the Mac color and this is the closet we have gotten so far and I'm loving it. Ive always had black / space grey phones since they first introduced them.

I sheepishly admit that I don’t love the pink as much as I thought I would. The rails have an almost mauve tint to them, and I don’t like that color. The back glass is better, but is starting to remind me of calamine lotion. I am afraid I will start to hate it. I guess I should have waited to see them in person. In hindsight I wish they had offered the base 15 in Starlight.

edited to add: now that I’ve had it a few days, the color is growing on me. It’s in a clear case now, which helps mute that mauve tint. I’m happy with the phone overall, it does what I need and isn’t too big or heavy.

Return it if you don’t like it and grab another color

Got a blue Pro Max. During event and preorder thought the color looked cool. Then on launch day went to the store, concluded my decision was right, it looked the best among the 4 pro coolers IMO.

HOWEVER. The paint chipping potential is real. The demo units at the store are absolutely scratched to its bones. Granted these were abused by thousands of sweaty public hands but still, I could see the MagSafe ring shape scratch on the back glass, all 4 corners have some paint chipped. All just after half a day of showcase.

Now I am seriously re-considering the natural color despite it looking kind of boring to my eyes. At least it is meant to be abused.

Taking back my 15PM Natural today and exchanging for a 15PM in blue. Natural is just so blah and bland after using it for a few days. It is clean of course but does not work for me and even think white is way better. Thankfully I found the blue last night online for pickup. If I found the white I probably would get that but that one is hard to find in my area.

And I don't use a case which I never have and for 95% of people color really makes 0 difference. I get the case reasoning but never had an issue so far but I do get apple care. I however really love the rounded edges and the dimensions as I use my phone 1 handed a lot and it is a joy to hold now.

The scratches might be less noticeable on the natural, but it will scratch as well as it is also PVD coated.
