I'm a bit late to the thread, but these were taken on the 19th July during a 2 hour window of relatively clear sky from two locations that were a 15 minute drive apart. Not bad for Bortle 4 sky I suppose - apart from the Lighthouse, it was Bortle 3.

All shots were taken in SW Scotland, and stacked with 16 light frames / 8 dark frames. I forgot to do separate foreground exposures to blend (trying to work fast under pressure - not helped by the stupid focus-by-wire design of Fuji lenses, awful for night sky photography) so I had to make do with what I had!

I was able to view Comet C/2020 F3 Neowise finally on 7-22-2020 thru 7-24-2020, due to clear skies.
This video includes timelapse, star trails, and other cool stuff.

Have you tried stacking photos in something like Starry Landscape Stacker? That stacks the foreground and background separately, so you can get the stars without trails but maybe still get the fireflies? It could be a cool effect! Could definitely be done in Photoshop or the like as well.

Not yet, I read about Starry Landscape Stacker but never tried it, I've got about 3,000+ images to work with over 3 nights... might look into it

If you're processing lots of images, I highly recommend it! It makes stacking nightscapes super fast and easy, and the results are great. That's what I used to stack ~8 exposures for the comet shot here, and you can't even really tell the foreground was a separate stack!

Love a good trails shot, it's quite hard to do with any cloud around..
