I’d like to be able to hide apps from the App Library or if I toggle them off for Siri & Search, it should also not appear in the App Library. I don’t want my „naughty“ Apps to be shown IN YOUR FACE so to speak in the „Recent“ category for everyone to see

If you toggle the app off in Siri Suggestions for Home Screen, then it won't show in the suggestions box on App Library... I just tested this by turning it off for one that was showing in the Suggestions box on the top left of App Library, and when I went back into App library, it went away from Suggestions.

So there you go, just as you said you wanted....

It will still be in the category folder based on what the developer chose though, as that's the point of the App Library.

i see it in RECENT

One change I would like is the option to stop apps that you have on your Home Screen from also appearing in the three “highlighted” apps in their respective categories.

Again, it’s not Apple’s fault, it’s the developers fault.

It sounds like you’re better off making your own folders. App Library isn’t for you, but is useful for other people.

I have done the Folder thing. T&E
My Home screens
Page 1 - apps I use throughout a normal day and use multiple times
Page 2 - apps I use on avg 1x day
Page 3 - apps I use frequently but not daily - say a couple/few times a week
Page 4 - Folders that are named and populated based on need - including a crapple folder ;)
Finance, Entertainment, Clouds, Utilities, Crapple1, Accounts, Office, Games, Extra1, Social

The apps location and folders and folder contents are dynamic based on what I am working on, time of year, or if on vacation.

Works for me. I am trying to see how App Library would fit into this. Not giving up, just not seeing it at this time. Was originally hoping I could replace my folder page with it.

As I said, not for you, but good for other people, that use devices differently to you.
