Hi guys,

I would like to know if it is possible to connect iPad Pro 11" to the latest MBP with USB-C. I don't want to go through iTunes or Finder's sync menu, I just want to drag and drop files between computer and iPad. Has anyone tried this?

Two more things
  • Seems like the USB-C cable supplied with the iPad is charge-only, so its transfer speeds are closer to USB 2.0. One would have to get cables like the Anker Powerline II to get 10gbps speed. True or false?
  • I was also told that when connecting to the MBP with a cable, Airdrop will ask if it should use the wired connection instead of wireless. Perhaps the cable speed restrictions also apply. True or false?
Thank you.
