LOL just reading the last convo between the two posters made me laugh a bit.

I'd make my honest opinion to the OP:

Get a Mac for the things you would value most out of OSX and dual boot to play the occasional game (depends if you're going with a MB for light gaming or a bit heavier with the MBP). Remember, the Mac hardware itself isn't built for a gaming machine, but it can handle from time to time.

It takes no time to boot into XP or back out of it... I have a Mac Pro with XP 64-bit on a second drive I use just for gaming. Anything else... email, browsing, IM, banking, ordering food etc I do in OS X. When I'm ready to game, 2 minutes, up and running XP. Takes less time to get a game up than to start my xbox and try to get a game online.
