Missing from this analysis:

How many customers said they didn't want a tablet.
Nothing is missing, it's pure opinion, backed by some sales numbers. Therefore this is far from a scientific analysis.

I'm not denying the fact that Apple has done it's usual excellent smoke and mirrors marketing job and convinced people that it's Magical and Revolutionary.

Steve's perceived as a cool guy, so he sells these things like there is no tomorrow. Apple better squeeze all the action out of him now while they can, once he is gone it's a completely different ballgame after the "autopilot" period fades.

Yeah, it must be a massive brainwashing scheme. Has to be. It's simply wrong and unfair for these things to be so popular and influential. There should be legally-defined limits on consumer enthusiasm.

"Opinion" backed by sales numbers is no longer just opinion. It's *informed* opinion. There's a difference.

When is the "autopilot" period going to fade? It's been autopilot from success to success for years now. What if it doesn't fade for years? Say, another 10. What then? Will your head explode? If it will, let me know so I can film it. I'll edit it in FCP because it's so damn easy.

Dude, Steve is not cool. The man wears turtlenecks.

He is a visionary though, which is why Apple is successful.

Once he's gone though, I hope Cook or whoever fills his shoes shares the same vision. I want my AAPL stock to recover.

As long as it's not FCPX
