Contacts -how to locate/fix corrupt entries?

I don't believe I have son,daughter etc.. but do have difficulties syncing between my 3 devices. Wish Apple would make it simple and easy for end users to be able to sync between their own devices without needing to upload all info from all devices to their cloud servers or other cloud servers. All info on each device should simply and easily sync merging latest info from each device to another one without deleting and other BS..

It won't hurt to download and run the attached "Fix Contacts" script file I posted here.
Since it tells you how many entries have been repaired (or none needing repair, meaning you haven't used "Son" or "daughter" anywhere) it'll at least help you determine if the problem is within Contacts or elsewhere.

Yeah, this sync stuff is frustrating.
Although I've fixed the issue with Contacts not syncing I'm still struggling with Calendar syncing properly. I think it might be an OSX SyncServices issue where I somehow need to reset it, but information on this subject is for some reason hard to come by, and mostly outdated for older OSX versions.
