Adguard is system wide at least on the Mac it is.

For iOS, AdGuard (non "PRO) is simply a Safari content blocker. Whereas, AdGuard PRO is a virtual VPN that is system wide.

I haven't noticed. Only thing is battery life takes a little dive using VPN.

Not sure. Haven't noticed much difference. I do know that blocking ads saves cellular data if not system resources.

Adguard is cool. 1Blocker gives me ads in the last month.
Now using AdBlockPlus the most popular here.

1Blocker was probably the best then, don't know about now. Adguard is obviously newer than that review.

I use 1Blocker and can't say I have a problem. Be aware however that according to that review (see the note at the bottom), 1Blocker allows TheDeck ads by default, as do many others, so you have to block them with a custom rule.

This may be why you're seeing some ads with 1Blocker.
