core i7 delivery date pushed back?

Indeed, but no store will be carrying i7s (if they ever will) when you still have a 2 week wait on the online store. Only once supply has met demand will you see the common BTOs appear in stores.
I was wondering this myself. Usually the Apple Retail doesn't carry BTO items but I think that since the i7 is so popular, they will carry them, eventually at least. I know my local Apple Store carried high end 3.2Ghz 8 core when the standard model was 2.8Ghz 8 core. It also had upgrade RAM and HD, but there was only one model of 3.2Ghz stocked. I don't live in a big city either.
That could be true, I was just relaying what one of the apple employees said. Although I do have to admit, I think I knew more then him
I've just got an email saying my imac has been dispatched and should be delivered by the 18th. All that worrying for nothing i guess. Just gotta keep my fingers crossed i don't get a bad screen or doa model now.

Though my credit card has been charged for the computer. To make it worse, you're from England. We all know Apple prefers to ship machines to the US first and yet yours shipped before mine. Apple must hate me.
