Exactly, you could have all your movies on a MicroSD card and move that between devices.

Why would anyone buy a computer with 128gb? Between the OS, programs, and media, it would be filled up in a day....
Throwing out buzzwords and overstating qualifications won't convince anyone.
I wouldn't waste time typing this stuff out - most of what OP says is completely false and he has a reputation for it. Some people are just too far goneiPads use AR and imaging technology to accurately measure blood loss during surgery. I use an iPad to create multimedia presentations for Ph.D. level professionals like myself, etc., etc.
If you read educational journals and research, as I do, you would know that costs and ease of managing users at scale drove Chromebook adoption. The 2018 iPad and the accompanying software tools were an attempt to address that.
People are free to say they don’t care for a certain form factor, and that’s fine. Looking to denigrate the choices of others to justify your own choices or the technology you are comfortable with is really just trolling.

For $399, you get 4GB RAM, 64GB of eMMC storage, and Windows 10 Home. An extra $50 upgrades to Windows 10 Pro, and an extra $150 upgrades to 8GB RAM and a 128GB NVMe SSD. The review systems all seem to have been the 8GB/128GB configuration; this means that their storage, in particular, will be considerably quicker than the base 4GB/64GB version. Microsoft has plans to introduce a version with integrated LTE and 256GB storage, but there's no price or availability for these just yet.
I got suckered with the Surface 2 (mostly useless). Then I get to the Surface Pro 4 and it's done real well for me for my Windows 10 needs. Nice keyboard and tablet features as well. I've had it for about a year now and hope to use it for a long time to come. It's mainly my travel machine. At home, I use a MBA and an iMac.While I'm very much a Mac guy, I'm stuck on Windows for work -- like most people. I gave the Surface Pro 3 a solid test run when it first came out. Unfortunately this was during the Windows 8 days... Didn't make that great of a tablet (nothing was finger-friendly) and didn't do that well as a laptop (hot and poor battery life).
With the Surface Go in the news, I've dusted off my SP3, made sure everything software-wise is updated, and I'm giving it yet another test run. It's been a couple days of substantial use and it's doing ok. Managed to solve at least one of the battery killers by disabling the Windows indexing service. Seemed to be getting stuck and driving up the CPU above 50% continuously.I got suckered with the Surface 2 (mostly useless). Where in that auction description does it say it includes the keyboard? The photos say that Pen and Keyboard are sold separately.
ah, thanks for the clarification. That IS a good deal!Everything is sold separately but the discount applies to the whole order including accessories. For example, $550 Surface Go 8GB/128GB plus $130 Alcantara Type Cover = $680 - 15% = $578 so $28 over Costco deal or less without tax for double the DRAM and premium keyboard material.
Neither will some other poorly thought out posts in this thread. In the end get what works for you. I have windows, Macs and iPads. iPads > windows for many things I do.Throwing out buzzwords and overstating qualifications won't convince anyone.
