Which is a terrible thing when you have a dual-SIM phone.
WhatsApp and iMessage are not sms they use data like wifi etc.you don't need a sim just your phone number.
I'm done with this.enjoy your bbm messaging

It uses the SIM associated with the phone number on a dual-SIM phone.WhatsApp and iMessage are not sms they use data like wifi etc.you don't need a sim just your phone number.

it uses a phone number period.once you tell it your phone number u can use WhatsApp on a tablet, laptop or any device that has an internet connection. It uses the SIM associated with the phone number on a dual-SIM phone.
You have not even tried what I am talking about.it uses a phone number period.once you tell it your phone number u can use WhatsApp on a tablet, laptop or any device that has an internet connection.
I can chat with my contacts on WhatsApp web browser also and all don't need a sim card.its not sms
You have not even tried what I am talking about.
I am not talking about using Wi-Fi, but cellular.tried what you think it's married to a sim card.its not! you can look live in Texas and go to Europe and take your sim out your phone and connect to wifi and people can WhatsApp message u.there is a reason there is over 1 billion active WhatsApp users
what's app is not sms it uses data so as long as u have data on your sim you are all set.i don't get what you talking about.its like saying Facebook messenger or iMessage won't work with out sim cards.just because it's using your number doesn't mean it's using sms .I am not talking about using Wi-Fi, but cellular.
I did not talk about SMS.what's app is not sms it uses data so as long as u have data on your sim you are all set.i don't get what you talking about.its like saying Facebook messenger or iMessage won't work with out sim cards
Why does it matter what someone else uses?WhatsApp and iMessage are not sms they use data like wifi etc.you don't need a sim just your phone number.

Maybe because Italy just slapped WhatsApp with antitrust. Why does it matter what someone else uses?
And? Why does it matter if someone else might be using it?Maybe because Italy just slapped WhatsApp with antitrust.
It matters if you are FORCED to use it.And? Why does it matter if someone else might be using it?
How are you forced to use it?It matters if you are FORCED to use it.
You can be forced to use a proprietary system by your social or business peers. How are you forced to use it?
That's not how that works. That's what they might be using, but it's up to you to use it or not or use something else. That applies to pretty much everything else too. If some of your friends are only using Facebook Messneger to talk it's up to you to use that to communicate with them using that or to use some other means to do it. If someone just uses email and nothing else then there's not much you can do if you want to talk to them but use email or some other means that they would be fine with, like phone calls or something like that. You can be forced to use a proprietary system by your social or business peers.
It is exactly how it works. Since Microsoft Office was invented. That's not how that works. That's what they might be using, but it's up to you to use it or not or use something else. That applies to pretty much everything else too. If some of your friends are only using Facebook Messneger to talk it's up to you to use that to communicate with them using that or to use some other means to do it. In the end everyone's situation is their situation and up to them to figure out what works for them and the people they want or need to be in touch with.
+1.Is someone doesn't want to be your friend because of the type of mobile device you have, can I suggest you search for a better class of friend..
Those people are appalling, if they are serious. The green bubbles ARE annoying in appearance because the white text doesn't contrast very pleasantly with the bright green background but jeez, some of those tweets were more annoying than any green bubbles I've ever seen.
Between people rejecting friends and lovers over differences in faith, politics, dietary choices and now green vs blue text bubbles, it's a wonder anyone can find a spouse anymore.
I have seen that my daughter and her friends use iMessage for group chats. There are two girls who don't have any iOS devices (or any other devices) to chat on so they simply fill them in on what was discussed when they meet up in person. Nobody is shunned, but I guess those without iMessage miss out on the immediacy of the chatting and all the great emojis.
He's getting a BlackBerry, not joining the Mathletes.Social suicide
He's getting a BlackBerry, not joining the Mathletes.
At least every BB10 phone released can be upgraded to the latest version. These days even mathletes make fun of blackberry users. Like, if they're having a calculation throwdown and some BB kid asks if he can join, the mathletes are like "ew, dude, no...get out of here with your bbm'ing and physical keyboard"
Latest version BB makes iOS 7.0.5 look like iOS 9.3.5At least every BB10 phone released can be upgraded to the latest version.
I don't follow iOS. What does that mean?Latest version BB makes iOS 7.0.5 look like iOS 9.3.5
My Mean Girls reference was wasted. These days even mathletes make fun of blackberry users. Like, if they're having a calculation throwdown and some BB kid asks if he can join, the mathletes are like "ew, dude, no...get out of here with your bbm'ing and physical keyboard"
