Crackling / Skipping / Stuttering Audio on MBP M3

’m not sure if it's stuttering, but for example, when I'm listening to music on YouTube and opening other tabs and pages in Chrome, I hear a crackling sound for a split second. It doesn't always happen; some sessions are fine, but when the crackling occurs, I restart the system and it goes away.

edit: I read somewhere that it only happens in non-Apple apps, so I launched music in Safari and opened tabs and pages in Chrome, and I didn't notice the crackling sound anymore.

That's exactly what it is. And I was only able to fix this by switching to Firefox.

I had a lot of crackling/static. Apple replaced the logic board. No further issue.

Can you be more specific? As in, in what situations did it happen, was it occasional or constant etc?

TEST: Mac Sequoia 15.1 Open Safari to YouTube and play a video. Open another tab at the same time and go to windy.com weather page and at the bottom push the play button for radar playback it kills my YouTube audio every time and only way to get it back is close safari and start again,. repeatable for me each and every time.

Here's it happening very noticeably.

I have gotten this most a lot since day one. Thought maybe software would help but that's been over couple years ago now. And the YouTube buffer status bar not sure what it is called flashing forward back and forth too.
