I'm selling a new pair of V-Moda Vibe Duos on Craigslist.

A potential buyer wants to buy them from me, and he is willing to mail me cash for them. Once I receive the cash, he told me to ship the headphones. Once he receives them, he told me he would then send me the cash for the shipping (I would imagine it would only cost $3-4 to mail across LA). Obviously, I would have to provide my address in order for him to mail the cash first.

Am I missing something here? Should I agree to this, or should I be suspicious?

/Sorry to threadjack, but I didn't see the need to start another similar thread

I would be suspicious of anyone mailing cash, no one mails larges amounts of cash. Maybe a 20 dollar bill in a birthday card but no one mails large amounts of cash.

Anytime a buyer mentions "Africa" run away as fast as you can. You can be sure it's a scam.

Bogus money orders and stolen credit cards are everywhere. :(

It's only $60... not really a large amount.

I've received larger amounts than that in a b-day card.....
