I was just responding to your previous post that indicated the only real benefit of the iPad 10 over the 9 was the landscape camera, but you are correct that the thread is really about the 10 vs the Air.
I didn’t state “over the 9” with regard to “the only benefit”. I did state that I think either are a better deal than the 10 if you don’t care a lot about the landscape camera, which is my opinion.

Well, the iPad 10 does have a few advantages over the iPad 9:

USB-C vs Lightning connector
Landscape two speaker audio vs two speakers
10.9 inch vs 10.2 inch display
Landscape front facing camera
A14 vs A13 chip, 16-core vs 8-core neural engine
4GB vs 3GB RAM
12MP vs 8MP rear camera
4K video recording
Greater color selection and updated form factor

I am probably forgetting some things.

Anyway, the retail price difference is about $120. Only you can decide if these things are worth it for your particular needs. In my case, I got my iPad 10 on sale for $419 and plan to keep it for about 4 years. That seemed like a reasonable deal to me, but YMMV.
Glad to hear you got yours for $419, and are liking it!

Do you feel you are missing anything over buying the Air or Pro? I mean, we know the differences in specs/features, but in reality- does it feel lacking in any way?

I don't see why you would think the iPad 10 would be easier on the eyes. The Air 5 has a laminated display which reduces glare.

I w as a basing that on the fact that Notebookcheck verified in their testing that the iPad 10 has no temporal dithering (flashing different colors in screen really fast to simulate a broader color palette, which causes eye pain for some), and that verification hasn’t been made for the Air.

However, I know the air is a big upgrade over the 10, and I was able to order it for only $499, so I think I’ll go ahead and just stick with the Air snd assume I will be fine with it.
