Same issue. Genius gave me two replacement phones, same issue on both. Very annoying for the price.

Has anyone fixed this by tightening the screws?

Nah once you get a screw driver in there you're going to crack the paint and it's scratch city.

A phone that's over 1k should not have to be tightened.

I went through a few X replacements in the last week because mh nearly perfect original phone died and that started me into the return lottery. If it creaks out of the box it will always creak! My current X which was replaced last night doesn't make any noise, creaks, or pops...fingers crossed it stays that way!

All electronics are going to do this. Why do people only care about their phones? MBP, any laptop, your TV, etc.

Twist them all and they will all creak/crack.

Generally, phones are now constructed of more metals and aluminum, and they don’t usually have creaking when you apply pressure or when the phone is in your grip. (At least, my iPhones do not). Not to mention, TVs and laptops are usually constructed of plastic, and those naturally will creek. For example, my PS4 Pro is entirely housed in plastic, which creeks when I move to clean around it. But I don’t have any concern with that, because I understand it’s constructed of plastic, which naturally will make that sound.

anyone have a slight creaking sound when flexing the iPhone X a tiny bit? If you hold it landscape and gently twist I get a creaking sound in my unit. If I hold it horizontally and press in the upper left side (screen facing you) I get a creaking sound as well. Anyone else?
[doublepost=1541942033][/doublepost]I have a 10R and when it prompts me to add my password it makes a creak sound.
