So when I click a phone number on an email, I get the option to "Create New Contact" and so I select that and fill in all the info and then I click "Done" on the upper right corner and then it closes. So then I go to the address book to see if it was saved, but to my surprise, it's not there! I tried many times but still not working. The only thing that works is if I create a new contact from scratch and not from clicking on a phone number link. So what do you think:confused:

Creating a new contact from a phone number in an email works for me. However, it doesn't appear in the contacts group set to show by default on my iPhone – I have to go to All Contacts, which is where it is visible.

I did check in all contacts but it's still not there, I tried searching either by last name or first name but still not there. Is my iPhone broken?

Not necessarily. Try restoring your iPhone to reinstall the firmware and see if it still happens after that. Out of curiosity, are you running 3.0 or 3.0.1?

So I restored my iPhone and I am running 3.0.1 and I tried it again and it still not working. Is there some setting somewhere that I need to fix in order to get this working?
