Don't get the 20" 2.4 it will never run on that. You need at least the 20" 2.66 with the 2600. If you have the 2600 you will be able to run it decently at medium-high settings.

Correct: the 20" 2.4Ghz will not run Crysis. Incorrect: You will be able to run medium-high. Expect medium @ medium resolutions.

I've gotten decent (and by decent i mean about 30 fps. Thats good enough for me) With mostly medium and like 2-3 on high. No AA though :(

Hi, I've been a PC user all my life, now my pc is getting old and i was looking at the 3.06GHZ 500GBHDD 4GBRAM NVIDIA 8800 Imac, this computer looks like a bomb to my newcomer's eyes... i dont know much about computers, but i would like to know if that Imac is good for gaming in general. I'm aware that having a 512gb graphic card is a great thing for gaming but i also read on other websites that macs are terrible for gaming. I'm planning on installing XP on boot camp to play games i intend to buy once i get my Imac like Crysis, Left 4 dead, Call of duty world at war.. and so on. Do you guys think this Imac is gonna be good for me? For someone who would use that Imac for everyday needs (check email, surf the web, watch movies/tv shows and play games)?

I also want to know if that Imac comes with integrated Wi-Fi or do i have to buy something else to go on the web wirelessly since i alrealy have a linksys router.

Every Mac in Apple's computer line has standard built in Wi-Fi. The Mac Pro is the only computer to leave it as a BTO option, and the Mac Mini is the only one with last generation's wireless G technology (but wireless, nontheless.)

But going back to the OP, also don't forget that new iMacs are inevitably coming our way, probably by MacWorld, and that I've read many responses on these forums that Apple may upgrade the graphics. In the 24" models at the very least, though I'm hoping they will give the 20" models a graphics boost too because it just so happens I am also in your position to get a new iMac very soon (as my primary PC gaming machine as well) and I'm just in the market for the smaller iMacs.

See my sig for my iMac specs. I can run Crysis in Boot Camp under Vista at 1920x1200, high settings, and get around 20-30 FPS.

The iMac will have Wi-Fi (B, G, N) included.
