I am running Ventura 13.6.4 on a 2017 MacBook, and I have noticed the currency converter in the Calculator app no longer works. I've tried deleting the appropriate .plist file, and that does not help. The currency converter on my iMac running Sonoma works, so it's not my internet. I know there is a plethora of ways to convert currency, but I just thought that was odd, the Calculator losing some of its functionality.

Same issue in Ventura on a Mac Studio M2 😕
Probably it depends from Yahoo conversion where the app gets the currencies
But on Yahoo web it works,.. well, on the Canadian Yahoo. I cannot check if the US one works as well
An alternative is Handy Converter. Little app that goes in the menu bar and that one works

You can report it to Apple Feedback , macOS and choose App/Utilities

The fastest way to convert currency is to use Spotlight that still uses the calculator...

"It just works"
I've tested this on half a dozen computers all with different OS's and it doesn't
