That makes sense. I personally can't help myself!

I am different kind of annual upgraders. I only buy iPhone that is about two or three years old.

That means I have used every single iPhone, up to iPhone 14 Pro Max.

The reason behind is that I never think iPhone worth the retail price and I won’t want to pay retail price at all. The two years old iPhone brought significant savings.

Maybe I will finally get iPhone 15 Pro Max next year

13 Pro. Just had a fresh battery installed at the Genius Bar 2 days ago. Still perfect for my use (wish it had USB-C, but oh well).

Just got the regular 15 in green. I was originally going to go for a 16, but none of the new proposed features convinced me, and seeing the 15 line colours in person, I couldn’t help myself. Coming from an SE2 I’m super happy with it so far!

Unless you just want the green iPhone, iPhone 14 Pro would be better choice, especially if you find deals on used market.

I got iPhone 14 Pro Max for less than $500 when I sold iPhone 13 for about $400CAD. iPhone 14 Pro and 15 uses same chips, it but has ProMotion screen, better camera system etc.

My first iPhone and my favorite iPhone design.

Touch ID felt so futuristic when it came out on the iPhone 5S

I loved the black iPhone 5… but I didn’t have money to buy as I just brought the iPhone 4S with three years contract back then. Then I went to purchase blue iPhone 5C three years down the road (16GB, I didn’t know how I survived with 16GB for so long).

Tbh I’ve found my new 15 worth it for the switch to USB-C alone, considering I live in the EU and most of the devices I own/being sold are also on it.

I'm still using my 12 mini. I loved the 16 pro, but I had to return it - way too heavy and cumbersome for me. My next phone, hopefully, will be an iPhone 17 (if the standard finally gets ProMotion), or an iPhone 17 slim if there is such a thing.

That’s true. I just came back from vacation and I forgot to bring my lightning cable, whereas I brought several usb-c cable. I have to drive 20 min to nearest store for a lightning cable.

Call me stupid.

I upgraded my iPhone 14 in midnight to a teal colour 16 on launch day.

I must say I don't detect a huge difference in performance (although I am enjoying iOS 18) but the 16 is a real joy to hold, where the 14 felt hard and slippery. Now, I can occasionally go case-less, which is a treat :)

Had the 15 Pro, got the 16 Pro Max and now I’m back on 15 Pro after returning the 16PM. Size, weight & spec are still perfect for me.

Same goes with the 13, both the 13 and 14 are made the same way on the outside. But a iPhone 14 would be easier to replace the back glass given its rear chassis has clips instead of adhesive.
