-How would you rate current iOS 11 release version on a scale of 1-10
-Answer the poll above
-Has iOS 11 helped your daily phone usage in anyway ?
-Has iOS 11 completely rendered your device useless?!
-Has iOS 11 become so laggy and sluggish on your devices ?!

Good survey design, but your included reflective questions skew negative; I sense personal bias.

Its not just the worst iOS but the WORST operating system I have ever used and that includes Windows Vista. Home button delays, battery drain, some stuttering here and there. The sooner we are onto iOS 12 where Apple fixes this mess, the better. Here's hoping iOS 12 is to iOS 11 that iOS 10 was to iOS 9.

Seems like two bad options while three good options, and not all of them are worded the same way.

The "good" choices don't quite seem to be ordered correctly as far as the overall scale seems to imply they should be.

That’s one opinion out the many. I do see the same stuttering that has never been fixed but the rest I haven’t seen.

I guarantee you that iOS 11.3.3 is going to be praised as the peak of perfection.

I’ve had no issues with iOS 11 on both my devices. Small bugs that don’t effect my user experience have happened exactly like every other version of iOS in the past. I had some battery issues in iOS 11 but, I had bigger issues in iOS 10. The battery drain was fixed in 10 and it will be fixed in 11. I know everyone’s experience is different, some have had big problems but, I wonder if it’s caused by their particular set of circumstances. It’s not uncommon to see phones with 200+ apps installed and the storage almost maxed out. That’s a lot going on and if everything doesn’t get along perfectly, issues are going to arise.. I know Apple will iron out iOS 11 and when iOS 12 comes out, this forum will be full of threads stating how they wish they could go back to 11.3.5 because of how great it was..

My iPhone 7 Plus was flawless throughout the iOS 10 cycle while it isnt on iOS 11. iOS 10 was a much higher quality and a polished release than iOS 11 mainly because it didnt have 3 different forks for the iPad, iPhone X and the mid range iPhones.

I dont expect iOS 11 to imrpve much now that we have already reached 11.2. I will see how iOS 12 works for me

I have read your numerous posts about your problems and disappointment in iOS 11. As I said everyone’s experience can be different. I hope as iOS 11 matures, all your issues get solved. Using a phone everyday that you don’t enjoy has to be frustrating

Flawless throughout the iOS 10 cycle? You didn't post and participate in threads about various different issues in iOS 10? There were no flaws at all in iOS 10? Or is this basically because you didn't experience issues then iOS 10 was just great, despite all kinds of issues being there that people experienced?

Running well enough though battery life is still a bit truncated compared to later versions of 10 - expect that to slowly improve as everything is tightened up from here though.

I voted very good.

Now, my "very good" may well be entirely different to someone else's "very good", but it is what it is. No showstoppers, then again I'm not measuring everything in milliseconds, so that may be a factor. The phone does what I need it to do (and a whole lot more), and that's enough for me.

Sounds like all those bugs and glitches people were experiencing even with their 7/7+ devices in the early days somehow magically only applied to their devices and weren't actual issues. By same logic all kinds of issues with iOS 11 aren't actual issues since there are people not experiencing a lot of them, including the home button delay. Sounds like we sorted it all out.

I voted "Neutral", simply because the experience on my iPad Pro has been good, but the experience on my iPhone 6 has been rather worse. Wishing I had left the iPhone on iOS10 to be honest, as - unlike the iPad - there has been little there that was worth the upgrade (unfortunately, in the Apple Cloud-Enabled world, if you want to share content between your iOS devices, they had better all be on the same iOS version!)

Early on very bad. Now finally 11.2 b4 is actually pretty good. Not sure that qualifies since its still beta.
-Has iOS 11 helped your daily phone usage in anyway ? Not really
-Has iOS 11 completely rendered your device useless?! No but has had quite a few annoying bugs/issues
-Has iOS 11 become so laggy and sluggish on your devices ?! Only initial releases. Seems to be better now

Several every day usage issues like weather widget, calculator, battery, etc. have certainly been quite annoying over the course of iOS11 but that seems to be the norm anymore with Apple new iOS releases. And not until x.2 or x.3 do they seem to finally stabilize again.

My devices run better on IOS 11 than other devices on other IOS versions. My iPhone X runs smoothly and is very quick. I go a 14 hour day and still have > 65% battery left. It was also great on my 6s and again was the fastest, smoothest IOS. My iPad MINI 2 is also very smooth with IOS 11.
I know a lot of people have issues but I think IOS 11 is great - the best since I've owned iPhones.

My experience has been good on my 8 Plus. Only issue I have is the damn RAM management which is really starting to annoy me now!

Haven’t updated my iPad Pro 10.5” yet though. Waiting for a few more significant updates just to be safe.

I do recognise the significant amount of issues from the launch of iOS 11 that people have had, and I have to admit that iOS 11 has been by FAR the worst major Apple software release for mobile devices in possibly forever.

Note: I am running a 7+ and two IPP 12.9 Gen 2

-How would you rate current iOS 11 release version on a scale of 1-10
  • 4 - where 1 being "abysmal" and 10 "walk on water"
  • This is in comparison to versions of the past on last years device.
-Has iOS 11 helped your daily phone usage in anyway ?
  • No.
  • The current features of iOS 11 have had no major positive impact on my daily use. In most cases, it has slowed down or hindered my use.
  • Great negative example: when accessing the "right" menu you tap the link and hold - it takes 3-5 seconds for the menu to appear
-Has iOS 11 completely rendered your device useless?!
  • No.
  • It has slowed down the effective use for daily activities. Most apps are slower to open and animations just add to the overall OS lag.
-Has iOS 11 become so laggy and sluggish on your devices ?!
  • Yes.
  • See above answer. The load times are slower. Apps reload more often when opened from the Task Manager. Tabs in Safari reload more frequently when switching. Alternative Mail and Message apps take longer to load when opened. Then add in a reduced battery life and you have a let-down from Apple.
At this stage I am very disappointed in iOS 11.

IOS 11.0.0 was SH*T compared to IOS 10.3.3...Apps didnt work..sometimes i could open 2-3 apps who would not open att all..even when closed and opened again the same..had to hard reboot.. but it got better with 11.X..

Even if i knew about those problems i would update mainly because of storage..i got only 16gb on Iphone 6 and the memory got full.. With IOS 11 i got 2-3 gb free from nothing..and that will be enough for some time before i buy iphone x..

It was so laggy and everything..Got better with updates and i did update and restored from backup copy and also worked better.

Well 72.5% Neutral or better. Apple would probably be very pleased with that - pretty good even on this limited, biased, self-selecting group Lol

Actually, that is pretty poor.
Limited results and a decent portion are “Apple can do no wrong”.
So using this as a rep sample gives it a failing grade. A 3.3 of 5 stars.
A very mediocre grade at best.
