After having some troubles trying to update my touch, I reverted back to 1.1.1. However when I reinstalled Customize it didn't work as well as before. It now works, but it seems buggy, and quite a few times it froze on me and then quit and exited back to my springboard. Weird, especially since it worked so flawlessly before I messed with all this updating crap. Not a huge deal, but just found it to be odd...

iPod touch Customize App Works

I was unable to jailbreak my touch once I had installed 1.1.2, so I never even tried putting customize on it (I was more interested in getting installer on it). let me know if you try it, and it does work. It would be nice to know how similar apps for 1.1.1 are compared to ones for 1.1.2. (unless that has since been determined by others)
Yes, but it took persistence.
Load Customize from the Installer. Do not open it. Then SFTP, I used Transmit, into your Touch and replace the Customize, with the one from the link in the first post. Set permissions to 755.
Restart - turn it off and reboot - your Touch. Works fine.
The one from Installer works, if you also install iPod2 fix. But it is a little flaky.

If you are using the one with the farting cow, then go to settings and select 16, if you are using the one from Installer, good luck, I could not get it to reorder, even after I installed iPod2 fix.
