Hey guys, im on 2.2.1 and noticed I cant connect to Cydia this morning. Fully jailbroken, no problems. Just wondering if Cydia is down for anyone? Installer is running fine, but Cydia keeps saying, Unable to Load (timed out)

Thanks

it figures it would be down cuz that new Crackulous app came out. Whats the deal with it? Has anyone messed with it yet? Also i was on the Appulous web page and downloaded a "cracked app", but when I tried to transfer it to my iphone it wouldnt transfer. Whats the deal on installing the apps from there?

Thanks

I've been having the same issue as well. Can't get to saurik.com from a regular browser either, so something's obviously up with it...

That sort of discussion isn't allowed here. :) But it's nothing to do with the new Crackulous app coming out, and if I recall that was yesterday. The problem started for me around 10am onwards. I can still get to my other tabs such as Changes, but it's just the Home that wont work. I can live with it for now.

Im sorry I posted something inappropriate and apologize if it has offended anyone.

Best Regards

I'm on 2.1 and Cydia's down for me as well. It's not just you. I have an update that's needed and I can't get it.

It's back up for me as well (both Cydia and saurik.com), so it looks like whatever the problem was has been resolved. :)

Cydia working perfectly once more. Apart from it reloading data way more than it needs to, which seems to be a really cool new feature of the latest version...

It was down this morning but its up again!

You can read it on "ispazio" <or how ever its spelled :D

Having an app like Crackulous (for cracking App store apps) available through Cydia
feels like the beginning of the end of Cydia. There's no way that will fly for very long...

Funny, I was just thinking the same thing a few hours ago. Well, sad, actually. I wish Cydia would keep its hands clean, and just remain the underground of the iPhone, not the underworld...

Cydia Down in Puerto Rico

Its down here too, tried a bunch of different downloads, some work, and other say Host Unreachable. And in the beggining when the loading is on the top bar, it says Error about 3 times. What might've happened....?

It's not really being made available through Cydia as Cydia's really just a front end to apt. Cydia also allows you access to openssh which in turn allows you access to the mobileinstallation file. So why the fuss now about the ability of adding an apt source?

It's a slippery slope if you want to go down that route though.. why stop at Cydia? Why not the ISP that provides the connection? or AT&T for that matter?

I wasn't. It's not really... uh... related.

"Cydia" isn't a service. It's a front-end for apt-get. Anything that's available through an apt repo can be available "via Cydia."

The availability of Crackulous via apt-get is pretty unlikely to impact the use and development of Cydia in any significant way.

Been having issues here as well, no luck so far. Just the nature of the beast I guess.
