Being a lousy typist I make similar mistakes as well. You wouldn't beleive, um believe, the words I have misspelled. But I might advise that you follow your own advice.

LOL perhaps I should advise OSX to take some english classes. Thats what I get for opening my big mouth.

Oh the irony...

Excuse me:
Quite is spelled quiet. No worrys [sic.], I do that all the time.

By the way...

LOL (excuse me, Laugh Out Loud), perhaps we should start a spelling thread. Sorry for the unintended [sic?] hijacking.

Kingsly, you mentioned that "The screen is much sharper and brighter".

Much sharper and brighter than what? The G5? An e-mac? I was just wondering what your reference is in your post. I am just curious if the new intel iMacs have upgraded the monitor at all from, say, the G5. But it seems the same to me.

I was worried about the problems that some people were experiencing with front row

I had one small problem where it froze for about 10 secs but i did not think much of it since i have little RAM and was doing a million other thing at the time (itunes, safari, torrents, transfering large files...)

iWeb looks and feels very much lie pages, if you used pages you will know what i mean. I have not tryed to publish a website but i will do so very soon. I played around with iWeb for a bit and its very easy to use, i think its more simple hen Steve Jobs showed us in his Keynote.

iTunes and iPhoto just work, nothing really different i noticed. When it comes to iDVD thou, wow i was blown away. It looks much nicer and the themes are very well done. I will be starting a project on it very soon.

No i said that not Kingsly. Well i have can compare it to 3 other apple products.

1- iBook 12" vs the new iMac (tni or short), dont even ask, 100x better.

2- Apple cinima display under powermac vs tni, about same

3- 17" G5 iMac vs tni, the new imac is much brighter, and is better on the eyes.

I am not sure if they changed anything in the monitor but when using it there is a difference, i am not sure if its hardware or software.

Impulse buys are great. I finally can relate to my girlfriend. And like she when she hides her new skirts and shirts for the appropiate time to tell, I just wait for the box to arrive...

-Hon, what's that??
-That is MY new Mac.

ps. Not worried about non ub applications that much. I am into photography but rarely use Photoshop, just bits and pieces. Looking forward though to the soon expected UB version of Aperture. Think that one will fly on my new Mac (better then on the G5 iMac anyway), yeah!

I dont want to make another thread so i will post it in this one.

Where can i buy some ram for my intel iMac 20" core duo?

Thanks crazycat. That's interesting that they may have changed something about the monitor in the new iMac, because they didn't announce or promote anything about it.

I wonder if anyone else has noticed any changes in the monitor with the new intels?
