Do you know alot of people with iPhones?

Every person I know here has the 500mb data plan. Why? because $5 a month adds up when your not close to 500mb anyway. And its actually more then $5 if you bundle it. It would cost me an extra $10 to go back to my 6gb plan. If they still offered that. So now it would be $10 more for 1gb vs 500mb.

I know quite a few people with iPhones... and not one has the $25 plan.

Maybe we hang out with different crowds. All the people I know are students.... including myself. We all have wifi at home and on campus.

And for a student an extra $5 can make a lot of difference.

What I am saying is why throw $10(for me thats how much it would be) away when it doesn't change your habits. Regardless I will be under 500mb so why spend it?

The point being yes some canadians do use the 500mb plan.

I agree. And I wasn't being sarcastic about the $5 making a lot of difference BTW, if I find $5 in my pocket that I didn't remember I had it makes my day.

Exactly its $360 for the life of the contract I will save. Or $180 for those who its only $5 more.

I've never had more than a 500mb plan with mine.

If I go over 60mb a month it's been a heavy month. I just use it for facebook, twitter, email, tracking buses, google maps and the odd website to kill time.

I can't comprehend downloading 6GB of data on my phone every month.

I'm almost always on wifi, and if I'm not, I'm usually on edge, so I can't hope to use more than 500MBs/month.
