Really fed up with this. On my 3rd iPad Pro, on the phone with Sky numerous times and still getting this! (My iPad Pro, iPhone taken with iPad mini)

Have they run any hardware tests to confirm it was the hardware? Are you restoring these from backups or have you tried starting fresh?

Glad that I found this thread! I have been debating whether to get an iPad Pro 9.7 inch or not. I have a similar set up and work cases to you DougFNJ and this sounds like exactly what I would need to use on the go. Thanks for the insight.

Happy to help . A few months later, and I am using this iPad more than I have ever used an iPad. It goes where I go, and my MacBook stays home more often.

Okay - not entirely sure where to put this, but search didn't return anything.

I'm set on getting a 9.7" iPad Pro to replace my Mini 4. I have an offer for $290 from CashForYourMac.com... Has anyone ever used these guys? They have great reviews but I've never heard of anyone besides Swappa/Gazelle. Any input?

Thanks!

All Apple suggested was to "forget this network" then set up again. I've also reset the iPad's but always restored from backup as i have stuff I don't want to lose. I'm now thinking it's not the iPad (3 faulty? surely not) but the wifi. It only occurs in my bedroom. Downstairs it's never lost the signal. I also spoke to my wifi supplier and they just suggested changing the channel number in settings. Still no good...
[doublepost=1463841534][/doublepost]I've just found this on Apple website. I've changed the DNS to 8.8.8.8 as suggested and so far it's working. Don't understand what this does but I'l give it a go.

"General suggestions for Wi-Fi issues, maybe one of them will help.... Since it is new, I would try 1-7 and if not successful I would go back to the Apple Store. I would not do a restore on a new device.

1) Perform a Forced Restart: Hold down the Home and Wake/Sleep buttons at the same time for about 15-20 seconds until the Apple logo appears. Allow device to restart.

2) Reset Network Settings: Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Rejoin the Network again.

3) Change to Google's DNS: Settings > Wi-Fi > Click on the Network, Delete all numbers under DNS and enter 8.8.8.8 or alternatively 8.8.4.4

4) Disable the QoS service on the router if available.

5) Reboot Router/Modem: Unplug from power for 2 minutes and plug again. Update Router Firmware (check manufacturer’s support website). Verify your router is Wi-Fi certified.

6) Determine if other Wi-Fi devices on network are working well (other iOS devices, Macs, PCs).

7) Try device at another Network, i.e., neighbors’, public coffee house, etc.

8) Restore the Device (ask for additional for details if desired)."

James K Polk, maybe start a new thread? I personally haven't heard of them, and I would research very thoroughly before I would ship it out.

@Medz1: if it's only your iPad and no other device in your house doing this, have you physically brought your iPad in so they can run a hardware diagnostic, or called into support and let them remotely run a diagnostic to confirm if it is or isn't related to your hardware?

My iPhone 6s has randomly had an issue with haptic turning off completely which also shuts off any vibration. After 5 swaps including 1 brand new iPhone we have all concluded it was software and something I was doing in the settings. We still haven't figured it out, but multiple times I restored and multiple times it resurfaced. I'm wondering if you might be having a similar problem that affects your wifi.

On to Apple now but when they tell me to go to send diagnostics the option isn't there?

Phoned Apple who did the diagnostics test. No problems found. Then this. No wifi. Then ran a speed test immediately after?!
