maybe not for the avg person here but for older people or people that cant or wont spend the cost of an ipad, this is perfect for them.

I've seen a couple short early reviews trickle in about this tablet, and from what i've read, this is not perfect for anyone. Consumer Reports was even a bit comical about it in their short preview. Engadget mentioned it as well. Oh and by the way, it's only running Android 1.6.

One of the reviews on walgreens mentioned someone using a wireless mouse with it. How do you do that with Android, an all touch OS?

Holy crap, look how long it takes to load.

Looks like it was a fresh boot out of hte box.

It took about the same amount of time that an iPod touch third gen takes in the same situation (a cold start, first boot or reboot).

My question is: why is it in today's day and age, that no one seems to be able to take clear, steady videos of something they're showing off?

Definitely one of the worst videos I've seen on YouTube for quality. The big fat bright chandelier didn't help either. :D

In any case, the gadget makes me glad I have an iPad. Looking forward to watching the competition get better though. Competition inspires innovation.

I initially thought that too, but I then I wondered how he got Internet running so fast. He didn't even set it up on the device. I suppose after thinking about it it's possible he has an open network and the device connected automatically. But I would still think out of the box it would ask which network to connect to.
