Same sentiment here too. The touch has to be perfect. If there are occasional hiccups, then it results in an annoying experience overall. Is venue's touch as good as ipads?

The screen is not as good as iPad air. I returned my iPad air as I didn't really need it. But for browsing my experience with IE on the dell venue pro 8 is not as smooth, its not bad by any means though. Also IE has a weird rendering issue occasionally in the metro interface. Chrome on the desktop does not do this.

It is a nice device and I actually have no issues running it in desktop mode with two windows snapped side by side, they are small however.

I am seriously thinking about getting rid of mine, probably give it to my sister. I like the size of the thing, I like the form factor and I like the idea but.... I don't use it. I have done a little searching on the thing with IE, and maybe a little youtube. My ipad mini (first gen, now jailbroken) and android tablets can do the same thing. I may have better use out of a updated iPad or even a 4g nexus 7 or something then with this thing so, yeah. Just not for me :)

I have not even activated office on it, so, I should be able to do a factory restore on this thing and pass it on to her, correct? Will she still be able to use office?
