I'll be 23 in a month.

I think most users are probably in their 20's, but what do I know.

i think you are probably right, i just wanted to see who really uses these forums, kinda makes me want to put one in the mac pro board and see how much older on average those people are...

39 sometime next year... As an intern sales engineer during they hey day in the late nineties of telecom, our whole team was on mac's... Much to the chagrin of the national company.. OK MCI... We loved the graphic and networking abilities... c'mon appletalk was the rage back then!!

My next MAC experience was recommending a computer for a student association at the University of Arizona.. Mac SE/30 was my recomendation and that's where we rolled...circa 1990..

Ever since then I've been in Windows land and have been waiting for the best value proposition from Apple to finally pull the trigger. The time is near, if not now... I have a creative side hobby with music and video editing, and have been getting by with XP apps that are adequate.. When they went Intel my attention went beyond that of curiosity... With Leopard coming out I'm finally ready to pull the trigger..... I see a new 24" under the xmas tree this year.. I research probably too much before making a large investment in computing, but I've been on this board for a long time. If I listen to closely I'd never buy one. Now that they (apple) is on the Intel train, they are handcuffed by Intel's upgrade path for new announcements. It would be a coupe if they managed to get the first few thousand processors off their assembly line... As telecom carriers we've done that with Cisco, Juniper, etc that I think it's possible...

Sorry for my pontification, but I can't wait to get my new Imac by the end of the year...

I just turned 25. Been using a Mac since I was about 14 or 15. Currently use a brand spanking new 24" iMac 2.4 GHz, 3GB RAM, 320 GB HDD. :D

Allthough I won't get my own iMac untill next week (at least), I'll just post/vote here anyway. I'm turning 22 this thursday, but been using Macs for about 10 years now (did graphical design in highschool, on them Silly old Macs with Pagemaker 4.0 or something)

25 here and gonna be getting my first Mac when leopard comes out, having used Windows and Linux for years the change is a little daunting.

32 here and still a PC dude from the dark side. Not too long anymore, just waiting for Leopard release to switch to iMac then. My PC is already declared obsolete and I know I will not regret it.

Still looking for a timemachine to skip October and be transported directly into an Apple shop. :apple:

40 here. (How the heck did THAT happen)!

Not an iMac user yet however. I currently use a 3+ year old Powermac G5. I'm dying for a new iMac right now, but am holding off until Leopard ships. What's making it REALLY hard is the fact that they just opened a new Apple store less than one mile from my front door. :D
