I'm 27 and a returning Mac user after about 15 years in the wilderness of PC-land. My girlfriend is 28 and works as a photographer, and has been a Mac user since time immemorial...

We had enough funds to get one computer and 24" iMac won (according to her there never was another option:D) and very happy to make the move. I can't believe just how beautiful Oblivion looks with everything on high settings on this machine, its awesome.

Well based on the poll it further explains why some of the postings are immature.

It seems that all the Steve Jobs aged people are using Macs. My dad is still thinking of the "Macintosh" ages whenever I talk about Macs.

I agree - I'm only 30. Please don't lump me in with the sorry 35-year olds...

i did it this way just to get a general feel for the forum, i too feel like a much different person at 24 than i did at 18, but those were the most easily grouped age groups....

...so many old people...

18 here

all i've seen here is a bit of fun...so long as everyone's enjoying themselves and noone's being offended it's awesome
so stop spoiling our fun:p

i reckon the iMac will have a really evenly spread demographic (over 20 or so) as it applies to everyone who isn't a pro 3-D/movie artist or gamer

it's a good machine...although i am perpetually depressed that apple can't find something else processor wise to put in it...
