I'm inclined to agree with the majority on this issue. 15" is a very good size for a laptop in my opinion, if you purchase your computer and Adobe CS3 at the same time CS3 is only $350! I suspect at some point you will want an external display, but the MBP and your school's Mac lab should suffice for now. Then you will have the edge of portability and the option to attach various peripherals later. This would have been my choice had I sufficient $$$. But I couldn't wait so I bought a 2.8 Ghz iMac. It's getting delivered.....someday, but that is a topic for another forum. Good luck!
 
CS3 & the 15" Pro, in that order. CS3 rocks: many improvements, not to mention Intel-native. Been running it since the day it came out. Thumbs—and toes—way up! :)
